Radlett - Hertfordshire

Our work on this large garden has taken place over the past decade and included numerous phases including a swimming pool, tennis court and extensive hard and soft landscaping across the property’s grounds.

This recent phase involved enhancing the existing entrance driveway to the property with a dramatic sweeping circular fore court retained with a bespoke stone wall. The vertical stone pieces were painstakingly installed to allow a series of curves that create lawns and plant beds featuring spectacular specimen trees and large expanses of shrubbery, interspersed with clipped laurel balls.

Elsewhere, a series of tall clipped hornbeams punctuate various junctions in the landscape around the house with densely planted borders edges with small box hedging.

An avenue of Acer wraps around the northern side of the house continuing the granite paving and bespoke retaining structure leading to previous phases of the garden that have been carefully integrated with the new works.

Large ornamental lawns to the south are edged with elegant stone pathways taking you on a voyage of horticultural discovery, as perfect specimens representing a cornucopia of plants and shrubs appear at carefully considered locations along the pathways creating a true oasis for this family home.
